Abstract

This contribution focuses on a presentation of the method that provides quick computation of specific surface size of a larger amount of polydisperse samples of the same material that was prepared by some mechanical fragmentation procedure. This method uses a minimum number of BET measurements, information about particle size distribution (for example from laser analyzer), and basic fractal geometry findings. The presented method thus enables time and economic savings and improves measurement accuracy.
